I met Ann and Chris to start their Chicago engagement session at Kinzie Street Bridge on the river in downtown, with a plan to end up at Northerly Island and the Planetarium for a variety of urban and wide-open-spaces type shots. When we arrived, a thunderstorm popped up just west of the city, so we tentatively began with thunder in the background and in the end…. lucky for us, only a spell of sprinkles for a few minutes in the middle. Ann and Chris thank you so much for such a charming session. Lots of people were out on a hot late Sunday evening in the city, but we found a few havens where we almost felt alone. We ended up at the marina, for a little sun peeking through among the boats and boardwalk, and Chris treated us all to a Chicago style hot dog, which absolutely hit the spot! I’m so excited for your upcoming wedding in August!!
