Promontory Point Chicago Wedding : Laura and Joe

I last worked with Laura and Joe at their fun engagement session in Lincoln Square. I was really looking forward to the chance to see them again at their Promontory Point wedding! I started my morning off with Laura as she got ready with her bridesmaids at the Essex Inn. Once everyone was ready to go, we jumped into a limo and headed south towards Promontory Point. Joe and Laura weren’t seeing each other before the wedding, so we steered clear of each other until the start of the ceremony. The ceremony was held outdoors, with the lake and skyline in the background! It was hot, but luckily, there was a little breeze coming off the water. After the ceremony, we took a few quick fun portraits before heading back inside for the reception. After dinner, Ryan from Style Matters and Shutterbooth made sure that everyone had a great time! One final note – thank you to Deborah at Honey and Light photography for doing a fantastic job as my second shooter!

Enough chatter – onto the photos!
