A Korean Wedding in Chicago : Chicago Wedding Photographer

It’s not often that my wedding day starts with the bride and groom picking me up in their car. But on an unusually hot day in April, I had no problem sitting back and enjoying the air conditioning! Jaime and Phil, who you may remember from their engagement session in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood, were getting married. We started the day by doing tons of fun portraits at the Arlington Heights train station and the Busse Woods forest preserve. Next, it was off to the European Crystal Banquets for the Korean wedding ceremony. Since the reception was going to be in the same location and we had already taken all of our portraits, Jaime and Phil were able to relax with their guests during their cocktail hour. Grace Kim, the amazing florist from Vale of Enna, not only did the flowers, but was also one of Jaime’s bridesmaids. My fantastic second photographer, Maggie, was with me and captured some great moments throughout the day, too! The shot of the little girl with the camera by the window is hers.

Congratulations, Jaime and Phil. Thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding day!

  9. Great job on all the photographs. I love the photograph of the bride and groom amongst the trees and the fact that it was taken on a hill, the tilted horizon really adds character to the photograph.
