Trash The Dress Session : Erin and Ron

Posted by in Weddings on September 6th, 2011

Remember Erin and Ron? They had a wonderful wedding at the Peggy Notebaert Museum earlier this year! Unfortunately, the weather was less-than-cooperative, and while a lovely wedding was going on inside the museum, it was downpouring rain all day outside. Since they weren’t able to do any wedding photos outside, the lovely couple contacted me about doing a trash the dress session around the city, and I was thrilled to be able to work with them again!

We started the trash-the-dress session in Lincoln Park, not too far from the museum:

And then we moved to Lake Michigan! Ron picked up Erin and spun her around…

But around the 3rd or 4th turn, he lost his footing, and they both went down!

Fortunately, this was a trash the dress session, and Erin had been planning to get her dress wet anyways!

We dusted ourselves off and took a few more photos to take advantage of the lovely sunset light.

Erin and Ron – thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with you again! I wish you both nothing but the best!
