Hotel Palomar Chicago : Maureen and Patrick

I met Maureen and Patrick at Hotel Palomar Chicago on State Street.  It was a rainy autumn Saturday morning, where I started capturing their getting ready portion of the day.  From the hotel, the girls and I took a trolley over to the Assumption Catholic Church in the West Loop. After their beautiful ceremony, they picked up sandwiches for everyone and we headed over to the Planetarium and Northerly Island with hopes the rain would let up.  They brought lots of umbrellas and when we stepped off the trolley, we found the rain had altogether stopped, and the Chicago city skyline was shrouded in a fog that was both eerie and beautiful.  After Northerly Island, Maureen, Patrick and I walked through Millenium Park to the metal plated and curved BP Pedestrian Bridge.  After some lovely shots there, we headed back to the Palomar for freshening up, cocktail hour, dinner and reception.  It was such a fun, beautiful and lovely evening!  Congratulations to Mo and Pat, who met and began their love story at the dog park (which I LOVE) – I wish you both the best, always.  Cheers!

Congratulations ~ and THANK YOU so much for inviting me to be a part of your beautiful wedding day!
